When a TonicDM project is connected to Procore, more than one person at your firm may have access to the corresponding Procore project. You can now identify the account TonicDM should use whenever possible.
Choosing a preferred account gives your team more control over which Procore identity is used for project interactions while retaining a fallback if that account is unavailable.
Select a preferred Procore account
You will need permission to edit the project's settings, and the TonicDM project must already be connected to Procore.
Open the project in TonicDM.
Select the settings gear beside the project name.
Scroll to Workflow Settings.
Find the Procore Connection section.
Under If possible, interact using this Procore account, select select....
Choose the Procore account you want TonicDM to use.
The selected email address will appear in the project settings.
What happens if the preferred account cannot be used?
TonicDM will try to use the selected account whenever possible. If it cannot, TonicDM will attempt to use another available Procore account from your organization.
This fallback helps connected workflows continue without making the preferred account a single point of failure.
Change or remove the preferred account
Return to the project's Procore Connection settings. Select a different account, or use the X beside the current email address to remove the preference.
If the account you need is not listed
The person may need to connect their Procore account to TonicDM. Use the guidance linked from the Procore Connection section to learn about connecting additional accounts, then return to the project settings to select it.
Tip: Choose an account belonging to someone who has the appropriate access to the connected Procore project and is expected to remain involved in the workflow.
