A transmittal is automatically created for every transaction within the TonicDM system and it is saved along with that transaction in TonicDM. Therefore if you are looking for the transmittal for a particular file transfer, you will find it with the record of that file transfer in TonicDM. The same is true for RFIs and submittals.

Transmittals for physical shipments

For transmittals intended to accompany physical shipments, our experience is that people find it more efficient to create and file these on paper. It just seems to make more sense this way.
We are happy to co-exist with paper:

  • Digital records for digital transactions.

  • Physical records for physical transactions.
