Installing the add-in using the Office 365 web portal

In Outlook on the web, select an email message from your Inbox. Select ... for More Actions at the top right of the selected email message.  Go to the bottom of the drop down list and select Get Add-ins.

Select My add-ins, Add a custom add-in then Add from URL..

Enter the following URL: https://tonicdm.com/outlook/office365.xml

Once installed, repeat the first steps to load the TonicDM add-in. Go to the bottom of the drop down list and select TonicDM, to open the TonicDM sidebar.

To keep TonicDM active when you select a message follow the steps to turn on the TonicDM check box in the Message surface settings.  Select Settings gear > View all Outlook settings > Customize actions > Scroll down to find Message surface > Check TonicDM box > Save, you should now see the TonicDM icon on the top of your message.

Note: Once installed in Outlook on the web, the add-in will also automatically appear in the toolbar on your Outlook for PC and your Outlook for Mac.

Installing the add-in using Outlook for PC

From the Outlook toolbar, select Get Add-ins

If the Get Add-ins button is missing, you may not be using Office 365 email account. To confirm, please use the web client method above.

Select My add-ins, Add a custom add-in then Add from URL.

enter this URL in the pop-up window: https://tonicdm.com/outlook/office365.xml

The add-in will now be available on the Outlook toolbar.

Installing the add-in using Outlook for Mac

From the Outlook toolbar, open the Microsoft Store

If the Store button is missing, it is probably because you don't have an Office 365 email account. To confirm, please use the web client method above.

Click add a custom add-in then Add from URL..

Enter this URL in the pop-up window: https://tonicdm.com/outlook/office365.xml

The add-in will now be available on the Outlook toolbar. See Filing Project Email for more information.
