Short description:
When you add a group of files or an entire folder to a TonicDM file transfer, TonicDM now makes it easier to review what you are sending. Uploaded files are automatically grouped by file type, and files that may not belong in the transfer are identified as Suggested Removals.
This is especially useful when uploading a large folder containing a mix of drawings, PDFs, images, and hidden system files.
Add files to your transfer
Start a new file transfer and add your recipients and message.
Add content using Add files, Add folder, Egnyte, OneDrive, or drag and drop.
Wait for the files to finish uploading.
Once uploaded, the file list displays filters across the top. Depending on the files you added, these may include Suggested Removals, Image, PDF, and other file types.
Filter the uploaded-file list
Select a file-type filter to show only the files in that group. TonicDM will display how many files match the selected filter.
You can select more than one filter to narrow the list further. To return to the complete list, select clear filters.
Note: Filtering changes which files are displayed for review. It does not remove those files from the transfer.
Review suggested removals
TonicDM may identify hidden system files or other items that you probably do not want to include. These appear under Suggested Removals.
Select Suggested Removals to review the identified files.
Open the menu beside the filter.
Choose Remove all to remove all suggested files from the transfer, or Keep all to include them.
You can also review files individually and select Keep when a suggested file should remain in the transfer.
Before sending, clear the filters and give the full file list one final review.
